Probably going to work on this a little more later but it's basically done.

It comes up so tiny on here, the original drawing is 12x12 inches.

I am silly and forgot that I wanted to show some of my more recent animations on here! So here are a few:

This was part of "The Travelers" installation which occurred in Baltimore's Penn Station December 2011.

Blackmail - October 2011

Cemetery - November 2011

Voice sample from the old radio show "The Strange Doctor Weird."

Midwest Monsters

I started this while I was visiting my grandparents home in Muncie, Indiana. Passing through all of the Walmarts and highways gave great inspiration.

First Gallery Piece

In November I had my piece in a gallery for the first time! The exhibit was called Calibration and was held at the In/Flux Gallery in Baltimore.

My piece was an interactive display named 'Cosmic Temple' where the viewer could make noises and would be responded by projected images of space.

I'm excited to delve deeper in exhibiting more of my work in the future!

Abandoned Roller Coaster Dog Park

I made this in September, and was debating whether to share it or not. I guess this is a "zine," filled with mostly poems and passing thoughts I wrote over time from 2009-present. The illustrations are all from this year, some that I have already posted here and some new. The photographs are cut out from magazines like National Geographic and some pictures I found online. I finally decided to put this up because I want to share more of my writing, which I work on equally as much as my visual pieces.

How to Build a Forest

Over the summer I was part of a performance/installation piece called "How to Build a Forest" created by Katie Pearl, Lisa D'Amour and Shawn Hall. The performance ran for two weekends in The Kitchen theater in Chelsea. Each day we brought and forest to life and then deconstructed it. People were allowed to step into the forest on stage or they could watch it being created in the audience seats. I was part of a group called Flash Mob were I helped builders and also interacted with the audience by introducing them into the forest or reading lines in the audience rows. It was a wonderful experience and I have not felt the same since. The forest was beautiful and I was incredibly inspired by the hard and meticulous work Shawn Lisa and Katie put out to make it happen. Here is a drawing I just finished inspired by the forest. I would also like to thank everyone I worked with in the production for letting me be a part of the magical experience!

(I plan to rescan my drawings in the future with a better scanner, as this one kind of blurs out half of the picture.)
